I dress very utilitarian, but I buy for quality. Carhartt makes some of the best pants for the sort of work I find myself in. I bought some four years ago and they just began to fall apart about two months back. I wear boots made by Duluth and they are the best I’ve ever owned. I’ve been wearing this same pair for almost two years. As far as shirts, I prefer a plane white (fruit of the loom is softest vs price right now) with a sturdy button up, long sleeved work shirt (and these get destroyed fairly quickly, so I buy Dickies). Now, as far as my Sunday-Go-To-Meeting clothes, that wardrobe is almost exclusively dominated by Perry Ellis. Love the way the clothes fit me and are breathable. I used to wear crap that fell apart in months, then I met my wife. Yeah, she’s a label-snob, but she knows quality. Highly recommend Spyder brand anything. Very high quality sports wear.
