My guess would be a teacher had caught on to the fact that a teenage girl’s nipples were visible and suggested a trip to the office. Depending on the teacher this might have been screamed. For reference, this is a british school, we have uniforms but this was one of our non-uniform days (we do it for charity) It’s a Monday and me and my friends (our schools “trenchcoat Mafia” (there’s no rules on costs at my old school, only that we can’t wear them in class. So, we all wear Trenchcoats outside lessons to keep with “our culture”)) are discussing what hijinks we’ll be getting up to on non-uniform day. One of them (honest ‘guv, wasn’t me) suggested trying to get the most offensive shirts possible. So, we pass the web filter and order 12 shirts to my friends house, all in our sizes (we paid for our own, but this parent was the one least likely to object)

I was very certain that I was going to get a call that day and meet some of the High School’s administration. So, why was he doing it? He and his friends decided to support one of their buddies who was getting flack from the school administration for wearing goofy clothing to school by going dressed “creatively” that day. When teaching in a junior school (pupils aged 7–11) I often had student teachers to mentor. One came completely inappropriately dressed in a low-cut crop top, midriff showing, tiny mini-skirt and bare legs. The 11 year old boys had eyes on stocks and were almost drooling. I had to explain that although her clothes were perfectly suitable for an evening out, they were totally inappropriate for the classroom, and I sent her home to change. LOL The last time I was in school was in the 1960’s. In my opinion, the most inappropriate clothing were girdles because you can’t get the damn things off when you want to have sex.
