but that’s more for print. I make sure I book models that have the look and vibe I’m looking for (casual, girl next door, sexy or sophisticated). Then I book hair and makeup and extra assistants. Next I coordinate music with the DJ, sometimes the mix is prerecorded and sometimes it’s live. Depending on how much choreography, we determine rehearsal time. Usually we have them come in 7 hours prior to the show for rehearsal. We rehearse while taking turns in hair and makeup. Sometimes rehearsal not needed but usually it’s good for the girls to see who they are behind/in front of and sometimes there’s specific music queues for turns, parting line and sometimes special added things. We check lights and do a final fitting in all garments to see if anything needs a quick stitch or pin. There are people at the door checking a list and voila.
