I wore so much mascara my lashes looked fake. When I was 12. It’s a wonder I still have lashes. In elementary school, I owned the most fabulously horrific Purple, Corduroy, OVERALLS that you could possibly imagine. They were sticky, they were fuzzy, I couldn’t bend my knees cuz that fabric does NOT stretch. I loved them. I also enjoyed walking around with my long long hair combed right over my face, like a long hairy veil, so I could (kinda) see you, but you couldn’t see me (evil little-girl cackle). . And alternately I would tie my hair up in a dozen perfectly random ponytails. Or just a couple up front so I would have weird little dangly ponytails sticking out over my face.
